ANCIENT GREEK CERAMIC GUTTUS SANDALED FOOT
An ancient Greek ceramic guttus modeled as a high soled sandaled foot. The vessel has a strainer at the top and a hole at the back. On the side, there is a vertical ring handle. Both the foot and the high platform sandal are handcrafted with great attention to detail. Guttus was used to pour a controlled amount of oil to fill lamps, add perfumed oil to a bath, or in rituals.
