ANCIENT TANG TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF COURT ATTENDANT
An ancient Chinese Tang Dynasty finely modelled hollow moulded terracotta pottery statuette of a male court attendant. The figure is shown wearing a long sleeved robe, tied to the waist, and long trousers. The hair is arranged in a high bun, and the hands are held to the chest. The body is covered with glaze in a brown shade. Hand painted facial features have been finely and naturalistically modelled. Circa: AD 618 to 906.
