A Cloisonné-Enamel Large Baluster Vase
Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926) era, early 20th century
Decorated in polychrome enamels and worked in silver and gilt wires with two gagaku dancers elaborately dressed in intricate costumes and wearing torikabuto (dancer's caps) on a ground scattered with repeated Oda mokko mon (Oda-clan quince flower crest) all reserved on a pale beige ground, stamped on the base with the mark of Ando Jubei. 57.2cm (22½in) high.
