An Exceptionally Fine Moriage Cloisonné-Enamel Vase
Meiji era (1868-1912), early 20th century
The large, bulbous body finely worked in silver wire and vibrantly coloured enamels with a persimmon tree with leafy branches laden with orange-hued ripe fruit silhouetted against a pale blue ground, applied with a silver rim and foot, the base marked in silver wire with the Ando Jubei logo; with a wood stand. 35cm (13¾in) high.
