Condition Report: Derain: light, stable craquelure throughout; canvas relined and slightly trimmed (in our opinion); creases from previous stretchers visible along edges; UV light reveals several small spots of touch-up scattered throughout (none larger than 1/4 inch diameter, the majority located in the lower right quadrant, some in the upper left quadrant and the upper center, and a few in the lower left and upper right quadrants); a three inch-long horizontal line of touch-up along the lower edge, approximately six short, horizontal lines of touch-up across the lowest two inches of the canvas (the longest 2 inches long); an approximately ten inch-long horizontal line of touch-up across the center of the canvas; additional small spots of touch-up along all four edges; a spot of possible glue residue to surface.
