Condition Report:
The canvas is flat and stable with an old relining. The colors appear bright and the detailed layers of paint are fresh and visible. There is a recent varnish which has not yellowed and is fairly even throughout the canvas. While there are no areas of restoration immediately visible to the naked eye, under ultra violet light one can see some recent retouching, most notably in the shadowed areas of the grapes as well as a section of the background, center left. Overall the canvas is in very good condition and presents well, it can be hung as is. Offered in a giltwood frame.
