In-4º of XCI-685 pages. Italian Art Nouveau binding, executed by the artist A. Antinori, from Rome. Dark red chagrin leather with gilt tooling on both covers in a panel and, at the center, recto and umbilical, the Great Arms of the King of Italy engraved and painted in white in cross. Tools used on both covers of extraordinary quality. One of the most beautiful Art Nouveau decorations we have seen. Spine with Art Nouveau tools gilt. Endpapers marbled in gold. Edges of the leaves burnished in fine gold. Both boards beveled. Two royal stamps attest to the private royal provenance of the work, which contains thousands of names of military men with the decorations of each. Valuable for biographical and genealogical history. It has a photograph of the King of Italy on the frontispiece verso.
COLLECTOR'S ITEM. Signed by the master bookbinder in gold at the foot of the lower cover.

In-4º de XCI-685 pages. Reliure Art nouveau italienne, exécutée par l’artiste A. Antinori, de Rome. Cuir chagrin rouge foncé avec fers dorés sur les deux plats en encadrement et, au centre, au recto et en position ombilicale, les Grandes Armes du Roi d’Italie gravées et peintes en blanc en croix. Fers utilisés sur les deux plats d’une qualité extraordinaire. L’une des plus belles décorations Art nouveau que nous ayons vues. Dos avec fers Art nouveau dorés. Pages de garde marbrées à l’or. Tranches des feuillets brunies à l’or fin. Les deux plats sont biseautés. Deux cachets royaux attestent de la provenance royale privée de l’ouvrage, qui contient des milliers de noms de militaires avec les décorations de chacun. Précieux pour l’histoire biographique et généalogique. Il comporte une photographie du Roi d’Italie au verso du faux-titre.
PIÈCE DE COLLECTION. Signée par le maître relieur en or au pied du plat inférieur.

收藏级作品。下封板底部以金字署有装帧大师签名。
