An antique mid to late 19th-century mantel clock. Presumably of French origin. Black marble base resting on four gilt bronze feet. A cast bronze figure of the seated Greek goddess Athena as the goddess of warfare rests on top of the pedestal. The goddess leans on the round clock face with convex glass door in gilt fittings.
