ANTIQUE CHINESE MING DYNASTY SWATOW CERAMIC BOWL

An antique Chinese, Ming Dynasty, Swatow ceramic bowl. The exterior of the bowl is adorned with hand enameled cobalt blue scrolling floral and foliage motifs. Raised on a low pedestal. The interior of the ware is adorned with a floral pattern in the center. Circa: 17th century. Swatow ware or Zhangzhou ware is a loose grouping of mainly late Ming dynasty Chinese export porcelain wares initially intended for the Southeast Asian market.
