An antique Chinese late Qing Dynasty cast gilt bronze figure showing an arhat ascetic Buddhist monk sitting in meditation on a dry lotus flower pod placed in a symbolic river rock or hill. Holds a stamp and dates to the early 20th century. However, several copies were done after that period using the original mold.
