An antique Chinese brown-painted pewter tea caddy. Late Qing era, 1900s. Footed exagonal shape. Each facet of the body is decorated with a hand-painted canvas board panel in ornamental framing with glass protection. The panels depict human figures and floral compositions. Traces of gilding.
