ANTIQUE FRENCH MANTEL CLOCK AND CANDELABRAS SET

A very fine and highly collectible French Louis XVI three piece mantel set comprising a mantel clock and a pair of candelabra, each for five candles. All three pieces are decorated with engraved motifs, repousse acanthus leaves and lion masks. The mantel clock which is to be the central part of the mantel set is also decorated with a face of a god surrounded by rays of sun. The movement is marked: Charles Pickard 2393 Paris A.H.
