ANTIQUE FRENCH PAINTED WOOD MANTEL CLOCK

Large mantel clock with solid wood case, painted to resemble flame mahogany wood grain with stenciled floral motifs. Brass bun feet, remnants of brass applique encircling clock face and stenciling. Maker unknown; apparently unmarked. Dimensions: H 17" x W 10.5" x D 7" Condition: Missing hour hand and key. Clock not currently running; movement not examined or tested. Brass applique loose, with breaks, losses, and tarnish. Spots of soiling, surface dirt, nicks and chips to paint finish.
Condition: All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Tuesday, Wednesday December 1st- Friday, December 10th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
