ANTIQUE JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL GOLD STONE VASE

An antique Japanese Meiji era enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is enameled with polychrome images of flowers and butterflies and medallions with flowers made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the vase are decorated with swirl and geometrical patterns made in the same technique. The ground is inlaid with Gold stones. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
