Design by Ernst August Leuteritz, 1818 to 1893, a German sculptor and professor. Ca. 1870s. The piece represents god of wine Bacchus, his tutor Silenus on donkey, young bacchante feeding the animal with fruit, and cupid. Fine detail work, gilt accents.
