An antique Russian samovar. This nickel-plated piece features an urn shaped bodice flanked by two wood handles and an ornate spigot. The samovar stands on four feet and is impressed with maker's marks and date to the upper lid. The manufacturer was founded in Tula during the rule of Alexander the II of Russia, but the samovar was patented ten years after his rule on April 10, 1898. The circa is 1918 to 1920.
