A beautiful Antique Victorian Solid Silver & Enamel Box with a magnificent enamel panel on the lid. The panel shows two women dressed in white with two gentlemen walking on a river bank with a boatman on the water. The image is created in deep, rich colours with a lovely attention to detail. The interior of the box is lined in wood.

Made in London in 1888 by John Newton Mappin.

CONDITION
