Splendid set of 6 coffee cups with respective saucers, 1 large coffee pot, 1 milk jug and a beautiful sugar bowl in white porcelain (Fine Bone China) by ANTON WEILD GLORIA designed by the famous CARLSBAD, model Leptani dekor N. 8030

A white porcelain of great finesse, slightly animated, sublimated by a rich 24K pure gold inlay decoration and hand-painted Paltino in relief. The service is beautifully decorated in Art Nouveau style with flowers and gold accents. The service dates back to approximately 1950-1970.

This type of decoration is no longer legal in many countries around the world, having become illegal due to the processing of highly polluting platinum. Very rare service.

History - Gloria Bayreuth fine porcelain
Founded in 1920 in West Germany by Anton Weidl Sr. , the GLORIA porcelain company was confiscated in 1945, forcing the family and its business to relocate to Bayreuth. Anton's son, equipped only with the experience learned from his father in the refinement of porcelain, rebuilt the factory with a small team of specialists from the original company. All the old designs and models lost during the war were reworked. At that time Anton Weidl Jr. laid the foundation for a unique collection of porcelain objects, earning a timeless reputation for his products to this day.
The founder's granddaughter took over the company in 2014.
