This is one of the etchings from the book "Carrer de Wagner" with texts by Joan Brossa, published by the Toni TÃ pies Gallery, Barcelona 1988.
Antoni Tà pies has exhibited all over the world, in leading galleries and museums such as the Guggenheim in New York and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. His awards include the Prince of Asturias, the Praemium Imperiale of the Japan Art Association, the National Culture Prize, the French Grand Prix de Peinture, etc., and anthologies have been dedicated to him in Tokyo, New York, Rome, Amsterdam, Madrid, Venice, Milan, Vienna and Brussels. He is represented in the main national and international museums, such as the foundation that bears his name in Barcelona, the Reina Sofà a in Madrid, the Guggenheim in Berlin, Bilbao and New York, the Fukoka Art Museum in Japan, the MoMA in New York and the Tate Gallery in London.
