An antique late 19th to early 20th century Austrian cold painted cast bronze figurine with a clock by Franz Bergman. The piece represents an Arab man dressed in white riding a camel. On the camels side is a round clock with Roman numerals on a bright blue background. The watch is marked inside Gardien Paris Cheron and numbered 2589. Franz Xavier Bergman, 1861 to 1936, was the owner of a Viennese foundry that produced patinated and cold painted bronzes which were extremely popular in Austria at the time.
