Title within architectural border incorporating the author's portrait and the printer's device repeated at end, full-page woodcut illustrations and cartouche at the beginning of each Canto, woodcut initials, X2 erroneously signed as Y2 (title reinforced and restored, some light staining and restoration mainly to initials leaves). 18th-century vellum, gilt title on spine, red marbled edges (new endpapers and modern sewing, corners reinforced, light staining).
