Octavo volume (in-8º) of xxi-612 pages. London, Harrison and Sons, 1893. Two photographs of the English monarchs, one of them of Queen Victoria. Original contemporary binding, in cloth, with gilt on the front cover and spine. This copy has a rarity: it is signed in the hand of Prince Vittorio Emanuel, who would later become King of Italy. S.A. acquired this copy in London in 1897, noting "ANNO JUBILEI" on the title page. Thus we know that he was in the United Kingdom that year. It bears a stamp with a royal crown and the monogram V.E., in addition to two other private royal labels of His Majesty.

Reliure originale de l’époque, en toile, avec dorures sur le plat supérieur et le dos. Cet exemplaire présente une rareté : il est signé de la main du Prince Vittorio Emanuel, qui deviendra Roi d’Italie. S.A. acquiert cet exemplaire à Londres en 1897 en notant « ANNO JUBILEI » sur la page de titre. Nous savons ainsi qu’il séjourne au Royaume-Uni cette année-là. Il porte un cachet avec couronne royale et monogramme V.E., ainsi que deux autres étiquettes royales privatives de Sa Majesté.
