The bag has a rectangular, elongated shape with a softly draping body made of a very densely woven mesh of tiny silver links. The surface of the mesh is flexible and drapes freely under its own weight, creating delicate folds and subtly reflecting light.
The upper part is finished with a rigid silver frame featuring simple, geometric proportions. The outer side of the frame features a delicate engraved ornament with floral and geometric motifs, characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic. A kiss-lock clasp, consisting of two small balls that allow for easy opening and closing of the bag, is centered on the frame.
Attached to the side ends of the frame is a long silver chain with elongated, oval links, allowing the bag to be carried on the shoulder or in the hand. The lower edge of the body is adorned with a decorative fringe formed of numerous vertically hanging sections of fine chain, lending the entire piece a sense of lightness and elegance.
The interior retains the construction typical of mesh handbags from the first half of the 20th century, with a visible silver mesh attached to the inside of the frame.
