ART NOUVEAU GERMAN AND ENGLISH SILVER CIGARETTE CASES

A pair of antique early 20th-century sterling silver cigarette cases. First. A case with embossed Art Nouveau female portrait and flowers. Hallmark of 800 silver standard, German crescent and crown mark, makers mark are on the clasp. Marked GM 155413 on the inner rim. Second. A case with beveled corners, guilloche surface. Hallmark MHM for M.H. Meyer Ltd., Birmigham assay mark, lion passant guardant, letter Z for the year 1924 are on the inside. Both items are gilt inside and have holding straps.
