ARTHUR BOYD | ELECKTRA

[ translate ]

Property Sold to Benefit Eltham College

ARTHUR BOYD
1920-1999
ELECKTRA

signed and titled
felt-tip pen, watercolour and paint on paper
63.5 by 51cm.; 25 by 20in.
Executed in 1963.

Condition Report:
The sheet has been laid down on to a supportive backing board. There is adhesive residue around the edges of the sheet most probably in line with how the sheet has been laid down, however, this is not visible in the present mount. There are some pieces of paper stuck in the adhesive, presumably from a previous mount. There is some very slight rounding and one or two tiny possible creases in the extreme corners. There are a couple of very light creases to the sheet at the right hand edge. There are some very light scuffs to the sheet in places, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There is some surface dirt and studio matter in places. This excepting, the work appears to be in good overall condition.

The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
