ASSORTED GERMAN CERAMIC STEINS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a transfer-printed occupational example by Merkelbach & Wick featuring a scene of tailors working, and a relief tree-like example having central vignette of a couple walking and a personalized engraving to edge of lid, each having metal lid with griffin thumblift and 1/2 liter size. Tailor example with impressed "N" and partial maker's mark to base, tree example with impressed "GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT / 1180" mark. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century.
Condition: Tailor example with overall crazing, discoloration, and some wear; tree example with restoration to handle, scattered glaze flakes.
Size: 9 5/8" and 10 1/4" HOA.
