One large Victorian pinchbeck carved shell cameo brooch. Carving depicts 'The Three Graces'. The Three Graces are the daughters if Zeus, each daughter has a particular qualities of humanity. The cameo measures 40 x 32mm with a swivel locket back fitting. Brooch measures 58 x 50mm.
A Victorian black enamel and seed pearl mourning brooch with a hair work panel with a scroll border. Brooch measures 40 x 35mm.

A yellow metal Victorian c.1880 ribbon brooch heavily engraved with foliate details. Brooch measures 40 x 28mm.

Two large pitchbeck yellow paste brooches. Measuring 70 x 40mm and 50 x 45mm.

A rolled gold Victorian sweetheart serpent knot brooch, the Victorians associated the snake motif with eternal love. Brooch length 40mm.

Condition

The Three Graces cameo has some visible repair joins around the outer frame. General surface wear with light scratches and pitting. The brooch fitting is in working order.

The mourning brooch has a small split in a outer frame.
The ribbon brooch has a small fracture to the reverse.
The three stone yellow paste brooch has general surface wear with some discoloration. A repair join is visible.

The yellow paste knot brooch has some facet wear on the stone and three small chips around the edge. The mount has some discolouration and scratches. The reverse has a visible repair join and a small section missing.

The serpent brooch has some wear on the metal.

The floral brooch has splits and several pit holes and the metal is worn through in places.
