ATTENTION COLLECTORS OF HISTORICAL FIREARMS: 1860 Spencer Carbine, .52 caliber, seven shot Carbine, SN16525, 22" round barrel. This carbine has a signed document from Wendell Grangaard, President of The Guns of History, Inc., Sioux Falls, SD, dated July 25, 2016. In this document Wendell Grangaard states: "I found the togia mark of Four Crows, an Oglala Sioux on the left side of the stock. Also on the stock is the mark of a Crow Warrior Four Bear and the togia mark "killed." There is more togia writing on both sides of the stock but time has faded the marks, I believe there to be a mixture of Oglala and Crow messages on this carbine." This letter and illustrations will accompany this Carbine.
