ATTILIO PRATELLA (1856 LUGO DI ROMAGNA - 1949 NAPLES) Shipping off the Neopolitan coast signed 'A Pratella' (lower left) oil on panel 25.5 x 33 cm Pratella was an Italian painter known for his landscapes, particularly choosing to depict Naples. The artist attended Trisi College, studying under Ippolito Bonaveri. Following this, from 1877 to 1878, he received a scholarship to study at the Academia di Belle Arti di Bologna. Subsequently, he won another scholarship in 1880, aged 24, to study at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli. His works are now widley exhibited throughout Italy.Click here to share:
