Attributed to Sanyu, or Chang Yu, Chinese, French, 1901 to 1966, ink painting on paper depicting a portrait of a seated woman. Signed with Calligraphy and in Latin, lower right. Framed. Sanyu or Chang Yu was a Chinese French painter. Sanyu created prints, drawings and paintings. His work fused the histories of European still life and figurative painting with the traditions of Chinese calligraphy.
