ATTRACTIVE, CUSTOM UPGRADED & ENGRAVED, PRE-64

WINCHESTER MODEL 12 PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 1859908. Bbl. 30". Model 12 pump action shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1961. Left side of the bbl. is exhibits typical factory markings consisting of the Winchester trademark logo, as well as the model and cal. designations above a "FULL" choke marking. Sides of the frame are professionally engraved with a vignette of a duck, with scrollwork on a fine punch dot background present on either side of the vignettes. Metal components exhibit a professionally reapplied blue finish, with the top strap of the receiver exhibiting a matte bead blasted blue finish. Bolt and carrier have been jeweled and polished in-the-white. Finely figured replacement checkered wood forearm and pistol grip buttstock, with blued steel "WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS" grip cap and ventilated red rubber Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. Receiver has been inletted and fitted with a rib ramp, with the bbl. featuring a V/R with a natural white bead front sight and apparent white synthetic mid-bead. S# on receiver extension has been renumbered to match. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their professionally reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some operational wear on the bbl. and mag. tube from cycling of the action, with some superficial handling marks present overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting some light pitting, as well as some hardened firing residue. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture is near excellent, exhibiting a couple of very light to light superficial handling marks, as well as a few small spots of minor flaking to the varnish.
