Ito-no-maki tachi mounts, with saya decorated in a lovely nashiji ground laqcuer with 14 five petal family mons represented. Taiko-gane with paulownia mon. Purple ito, with silver-washed copper mounts with floral vinework on a punched ground. Menuki in the form of florals. Tsuba in 3 piece tachi configuration with silver plates on a brass base. CONDITION: Good, with some high edge rubbing throughout with some very light fraying to brocade at high edges. Mounts with some rubbing through to copper. Lacquer with some handling marks and a few minor chips, mostly along mune side. A well presenting set of tachi mounts. Blade Length: N/A Overall Length: 39 - 1/2"
