ATTRIBUTED TO CHEN HONGSHOU (1598-1652)
Drunken Li Bai
Hanging scroll, ink and light color on paper, signed Hongshou, with two artist's seals, with two colophons inscribed on the outer silk mount, the one above the painting inscribed by Wu Hufan (1894-1968), signed Wu Hufan with his seal Wu Hufan, the second colophon inscribed by Zhang Daqian (1899-1983) dated wuzi (1948) and signed Zhang Daqian Yuan, with two of his seals Zhang Yuan and Daqian Jushi, with an additional four collector's seals on the painting and surrounding silk mount.
18 x 8 3/4in (45.7 x 22.2cm), the image only.
