Condition Report: The canvas is relined and presents a light varnish across the whole surface. UV light reveals various retouches: a wide patch of about 10cm diameter on the cheek of the sitter, extensive retouching on the forehead, with restorations up to 6cm wide; a 7cm wide patch of restauration on the left shoulder, a 2cm wide restoration line which crosses the whole painting, starting below the sitters right shoulder and ending at the height of the sitter's left shoulder; to conclude, various smaller dotted retouches are present on the right border, and in the upper right corner.
