Raoul Dufy, French, 1877 to 1953, mixed media painting on paper depicting a villa with a garden with birds and blossoming flowers view. Signed lower left. Framed. Raoul Dufy was a French Fauvist painter, later Cubist. He developed a colorful, decorative style that became fashionable for designs of ceramics and textiles. He is noted for scenes of open air social events. He was also a draftsman, printmaker, book illustrator, scenic designer, designer of furniture, and planner of public spaces. One of a kind artwork.
