Oil and gold ground on panel, cradled. Paint surface with a fine network of craquelure. In the left and right third a fine vertical retouched hairline crack is visible. Slight colour abrasions along the edges.
Under UV: some retouching visible in the foreground, on the figures and in the background. Varnish fluoresces irregularly greenish.
