Dav-20; KM-2246.2. Mintage: 1,644 (for all varieties). Wreath tips point to "AI" of "KAISER". Struck to commemorate the opening of the Vienna to Trieste railroad. A nicely preserved example of this one-year type that exhibits a bold strike with frosty devices and flashy surfaces; minor signs of handling consistent for the grade displaying rich slate patina with a blue iridescent sheen on the obverse while the reverse showcases a plethora of iridescent hues. A lovely representative of the type offering much originality and good eye appeal, clearly an example that sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed.
