Abarth - 850 OT berlina - 1966

The OT 850 is an Abarth-Motor vehicle with code 201, it uses a water-cooled, in-line four-cylinder petrol engine. Since November 1964, the manufacturer’s version has put the power with 44 DIN-PS (32 k. W) at 5400 rpm. This Abarth 850 OT was registered in 1966, then de-registered in 1985 with number plate VE 119130 (please see documents in photos) , re-registered in 2017. Therefore, the car has been stored in a garage for 32 years without driving, and it wasn’t restored. It has CRS (Certificate of Historical Importance) issued by ASI, certifying the historical importance of the car, there’s no typical ASI certification. It has ACI-PRA historicity certificate. Of the original OT 850 only a few vehicles have survived until today, also because it has been modified by the Abarth workshops for only 2 years from 1964-1966 and many have been prepared for racing, the rest has remained with little attention even among car collectors. Today, these are sought-after collector’s items by Abarth enthusiasts. This Abarth 850 OT saloon S is much rarer than its older sister OT 1000 and much rarer than 600. . . 850 and 1000 TC versions. It has 4 drum brakes. Gearbox in very good working condition. Original large magnesium sump. Instrument panel by 1000 OT, very rare and in perfect working condition, original from the time. Odometer reading of only 39 km at the time of the photos, because replaced as the old one was broken and it read 60,000 km at the time of replacement, therefore to this day it’s 60,039 km. 5 tyres in good condition on new Campagnolo replica rims. With the car, also included 5 straight rims in good condition 13 x 5 inches Fiat 4x98 mount Cromodora wheelbase made of magnesium, original from the 1960s. Very good engine. All original badges. Original steering wheel. Bodywork preserved but with evident signs of use in the paint. Inspection with expiration 2021 recently performed, please see attached photos.
