N.B.:
In the background, from right to left, the characteristic towers of the Sint-Eusebiuskerk and the Sint Walburgiskerk can be recognized, behind which the Rhine river. Couwenberg's works are rare: just like his colleague and contemporary Wijnand Nuijen (1813-1839) he died at a relatively young age, but left a small but beautiful oeuvre.
