"Abraham Lincoln's Daily Devotional", with Foreword by Paul F. Crouch, special Edition by Trinity Broadcast Network, Santa Ana, California, undated [1965?]

The book is a reprint of the entire text of Lincoln's vest-pocket-sized daily devotional with the facsimile of Lincoln's signature on the front endpaper [the original was signed by Lincoln].

Perhaps no other American president is as revered as Abraham Lincoln, whose strong faith and moral courage inspired a nation, and whose timeless words of common sense continue to influence men and women today. Abraham Lincoln carried in his pocket a spiritual book of days, "The Believer's Daily Treasure or, Texts of Scripture arranged for every day of the year", published by the Religious Tract Society of London, England. Lincoln often quoted from the Believer's Daily Treasure in his addresses to the nation and included snippets from it in his letters. He also read from it for personal strength during the Civil War.

In Abraham Lincoln's "Daily Treasure," readers will find daily devotional selections in a variety of subject themes. Each devotion includes Scripture, a devotional thought, or a spiritual or inspirational quote from Lincoln. Although set up to be read daily, what's interesting about Lincoln's devotional is that every month is themed - but they are life themes not seasonal ones. The Scripture for each day of that month is dedicated to the month's theme.

Here are the themed months of the year as they are laid out in the book's Table of Contents:

January - The True Believer
February - Evidences of the Believer
March - Privileges of the Believer
April - Duties of the Believer-Personal
May - Duties of the Believer-To the church
June - Duties of the Believer-To the world
July - Joys of the Believer
