Abstract Expressionist Portrait, Mixed Media, Signed and Dated 1984

An arresting and dynamic abstract portrait, this artwork showcases a bold interplay of color, texture, and emotion. The figures vibrant yellow face and intense pink hair are set against a deep, shadowy background, creating a striking contrast that draws the viewer in. Energetic cross-hatching and layered strokes add powerful texture and movement, while the distorted, geometric features suggest influences of both Cubism and Expressionism. Signed and dated 84 in the lower right corner, this piece captures a raw, unfiltered emotional resonance, making it a compelling addition for collectors of modern and contemporary art
