About the artist: The work of Vladimir Gusev has a wide range, the artist successfully works on landscapes and portraits, still lifes and genre paintings. His paintings are always poetic, interesting and optimistic, and the painting is filled with ease and ease of perception. For some time the artist lived and worked in France, from where, probably, in his painting a slight Renoir flavor appeared. The formation of the artist was associated with his studies at the Surikov Institute, but the first and main teacher of Vladimir was his father, Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Mikhailovich Gusev.
Vladimir Gusev is an active participant in Moscow, All-Russian and international exhibitions. A number of the artist's works were sold at art auctions in France, Great Britain, China and the USA. Vladimir Gusev's paintings are in numerous private and corporate collections in Russia, China, Japan, the USA, France, Belgium, Italy, Yugoslavia, Germany, England, Poland, Finland, Turkey and other countries.
