About the artist: Was born on September 29, 1937 in the city of Kharkov. Son of A. Bozhko. Graduated from the M. Grekov Odessa State Art School (1967). Teachers by profession - D. Mutselmakher, A. Likholita, G. Pavlyuk. Monumentalist, painter, sculptor, writer. He worked in the field of monumental art, painting, graphics and sculpture. Member of the National Association of Artists of Ukraine (1993). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1994). He worked as an artist for the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Iskra" (1968). Head of the art department of the newspaper "Yug" (1991). Participated in exhibitions since 1968. Personal exhibitions in Odessa (1972, 1974, 1998-1999). Major works - painting: "Winter", "Melodies of Grieg" (1980), "Autumn" (1981), "Black Sea" (1984), "Infinity-1" (1985), "Infinity-2" (1986), "Interior", "Candle" (1990), "On the edge of the city" (1991), "Autumn field" (1995), "The beginning of spring" (1996), "Theatrical motive" (1997); sculpture: "Harvesting", "Statics", "Weighted Step", "Dreams (Pimalion)", "The Journey of a Bottle", "Literal Understanding" (1990). Production designer for the film: "Hunting for rats" and "Dead without burial" (1991). The works are kept in the Odessa Literary Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Khmelnitsk.
