Mezzadro is a stool obtained from the quest of the Castiglioni brothers to find a seat that was comfortable and with a rational line, referring back to the typical dadaist composition of the ready-made, i. e. , the decontextualisation of an object. They concluded that a tractor seat was ideal for combining the dadaist philosophy and the quest for comfort. Indeed, Mezaadro is none other than the seat of a tractor turned into an ironic, playful stool for domestic use, with a simple and unusual composition.
