Note:
works by the artist are in the University at Albany, Fine Art Collections. He studied in the United Kingdom during the 1980s at Bradford College, exhibiting with the British Council during the 1970s. He was also part of the important 'International Group Art Exhibition' at the National Museum, Benin City in 1984. He taught at the University of Benin from 1982 until retirement.

Gelede Masks are worn by male Yoruba dancers at festivals honouring the women of the community, living and dead.
