Height (not including base): 43.7cm., 17¼in.
Height (including base): 47.7cm., 18¾in.
Conceived circa 1882-1889 and cast in bronze in a numbered edition of 13 between 1974-1983 by the Emile Godard Foundry, Paris; this example cast in 1981.

This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de L'Œuvre Sculpté d'Auguste Rodin being prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under no. 2020-6188B.

Condition Report:
Bronze with a dark brown patina. There is some minor oxidisation in some of the crevices, and some minor patina wear and light surface scratches in places, consistent with age and handling. This work is in overall very good condition.
