Adolf Richard Fleischmann was a German-American abstractionist, considered a forerunner of Op Art. In the 1920s, during the Weimar Republic period experimented in Expressionism and Cubism. Labelled by the Nazi regime as one of 'degenerate painters', lived in France and in the USA where his talent has flourished.
