The sculpture is signed on the hollow base "Lavergne" for Adolphe-Jean Lavergne French artist and sculptor (1852-1901) .
Presence, on the terrace, of the stamp of the German foundry: "F. P. SANSON SUCC 4 NEUERWALL HAMBURG".
Very good state of conservation. It's an original.
Beautiful brown medal patina. Small traces of time.
Cane wire added late.
Estimated period: late 19th century.
Excellent quality of bronze, great attention to detail and finesse of representation.
