Adorable Daguerreotype of Dog “Sitting

What more needs to be said about this incredibly pleasing sixth plate daguerreotype of a well-trained dog? Our furry friend sits with their hind legs on the ground and front legs up in the air, a trick commonly known as begging or “sitting pretty." This very good dog seems to have it mastered. Good boy (or girl)! Image is in fine condition with some tarnish around the edges. Housed in a full leatherette case.
