Wilhelmina Krüger (1737-1809) married in 1763 to Arend van Haarst. Their son Gerrit van Haarst (born 1764) married Maria Spaan (born 1762). A family portrait of Gerrit with his mother, his wife and their five children - Arent (born 1793), Willem (born 1795), Antoinette Philippine (1800-1862), Gerrit (born 1801) and Jan Willem (born 1802) - is part of the collection of Museum ’t Coopmanshûs in Franeker. Father Gerrit van Haarst was a tobacconist on the Reguliersbreestraat in Amsterdam.
